Chinese heavyweight contender Zhang Zhilei has expressed his keen interest in stepping into the ring with former unified world champion Anthony Joshua.
Quoted by The Ring, Zhilei stated his position clearly: “If Joshua is interested – I’m in. I still dream of becoming the best champion in the world and I’m not going to back down. There is only one step left, but a tough road lies ahead.”
Zhilei`s most recent bout took place in February, where he suffered a knockout defeat at the hands of Agit Cabayel.
