Jeremy Monga played his first senior game for Leicester City wearing a special jersey without the team sponsor.
At just 15 years old, Monga became the second-youngest player to ever play in the Premier League when he came on as a substitute in Leicester`s 3-0 loss to Newcastle.

Born in 2009, Monga is 23 years younger than Jamie Vardy. He replaced Bilal El Khannouss in the 74th minute of the game at King Power Stadium.
This young talent had to wear a different kit than his teammates because of the club`s sponsor.
Leicester`s jerseys feature the logo of crypto casino BC Game. Since Monga is only 15, regulations prevent him from promoting gambling companies.
Therefore, the winger, wearing number 93, wore a shirt without the sponsor`s brand on the front.
Monga is considered a very promising young player and has played six times for England`s Under-16 team.
His talent has attracted attention from major clubs like Manchester City, Chelsea, and Real Madrid.
Despite his youth, Monga`s debut in senior football has been anticipated for some time.
Manager Ruud van Nistelrooy mentioned upon his arrival, “The first thing I did was assess the Under-21s and Under-18s, bringing them to train with the first team to evaluate them.”
“When players are good enough, their age is not important to me, and they can contribute to the team.”
Van Nistelrooy noted last week that Monga`s schooling made it challenging to integrate him fully, saying, “He is developing very well, and his quality is clear.”
“However, his situation as a 15-year-old student limits his availability to be consistently around the team.”
The record for the youngest Premier League player is held by Arsenal`s Ethan Nwaneri, who debuted at 15 years and 181 days old in September 2022.
