During the ongoing Mutua Madrid Open tournament, several leading WTA athletes, including Ons Jabeur, Camila Osorio, Demi Schuurs, Luisa Stefani, and Beatriz Haddad Maia, made a visit to Real Madrid City earlier this week.
Ahead of a training session, the tennis stars were greeted by members of the Real Madrid women`s football squad: Athenea del Castillo, Caroline Weir, Rikke Møller Jensen, Linda Caicedo, and Antonia Silva.
The two groups exchanged tokens of appreciation and took a moment to acknowledge the connection between football and tennis, coinciding with one of the largest combined events in the world of sports.
The Mutua Madrid Open 2025 tournament is scheduled to run until May 4th at the Caja Magica venue.
