Italian independent studio Broken Arms Games has launched a free playtest for their upcoming golf club management simulator, Under Par Golf Architect. PC players now have the opportunity to experience the game at no cost from June 6th to June 11th and explore its features.
A central element of managing a golf club in the game involves designing the ideal course. Players will be equipped with tools enabling them to sculpt the terrain and modify the environment of their land, allowing them to bring their envisioned layout to life.
While the full game is set to include much more, including extensive club management aspects, the current playtest is specifically focused on the course design tools. The primary goal is to test the robustness and usability of these tools to ensure players can create distinct golf clubs with unique characteristics and cohesive visual styles that meet their satisfaction.
Yves Hohler, co-founder and creative director at Broken Arms Games, commented on the significance of this phase: “This open playtest is a pivotal moment in our development journey. We are eager to welcome the community and gather valuable feedback on the overall user experience.”
Enthusiasts interested in participating can access the free playtest directly via Steam. Under Par Golf Architect is also scheduled to be showcased during the upcoming Future Games Show, where Broken Arms Games intends to reveal more details about the gameplay of their casual management sim.
