UFC CEO Dana White has provided insights into the current situation with former featherweight champion Ilia Topuria.
Earlier, Topuria mentioned that UFC management had promised him a title fight in the lightweight division.
When asked about Topuria`s next steps, White stated, “We`re working on it. We still have a lot in progress. Topuria is one of our major stars. If we had finalized plans for his future, we would have already announced them.”
Regarding the possibility of hosting a tournament in Spain, White added, “I don`t have any new updates on the Spain event yet. We are still working on that as well,” White confirmed at the press conference.
