UFC CEO Dana White has officially announced two blockbuster fights for UFC 316, scheduled for June 7th in Newark, South Carolina.
The main event will feature a highly anticipated rematch between flyweight champion Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O`Malley.
Adding to the excitement, the co-main event will showcase a women`s bantamweight title clash between champion Julianna Pena and former PFL star and Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison.
Dvalishvili and O`Malley previously clashed last September, with Dvalishvili securing a unanimous decision victory. Merab Dvalishvili is coming off a win against Umar Nurmagomedov earlier this year, where he handed Nurmagomedov his first professional defeat, also by decision.
