Tsarukyan Sets Ambitious Goal for Three Fights This Year

MMA

UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan has publicly stated his intention to compete three more times before the end of 2024.

Detailing his immediate plans, Tsarukyan was quoted saying: “I`m flying to America now to train and maintain my diet, anticipating the outcome of the [Ilia] Topuria versus [Charles] Oliveira fight. If either of them has to pull out, I am prepared to step in as a replacement. Following that, should the UFC offer me a bout against Dan Hooker or Justin Gaethje, I`m ready to fight in August or early September. My ultimate goal is to then challenge for the title by the close of the year.”

Tsarukyan emphasized his desire to remain active, adding, “I won`t just wait around. I believe a matchup with Hooker is the most probable scenario, particularly as I suspect the UFC might be planning to pair Gaethje with Paddy Pimblett.”
