Ilia Topuria has commented on his strong statements regarding former UFC lightweight champion, Brazilian Charles Oliveira.
“I wasn`t insulting Charles, I was stating facts. He has 10 losses in his professional record. Oliveira claims the lightweight division is the toughest. However, when Charles competed at welterweight, Cub Swanson defeated him,” Topuria stated, as reported by Bloody Elbow.
It is worth noting that Topuria decided to vacate his featherweight title and move up to the lightweight division.
