Southampton fans have criticised the club`s social media account after it appeared to celebrate surpassing Derby County`s record for the lowest-ever Premier League points tally.
The already-relegated Saints secured their 12th point of the season after holding Manchester City to a goalless draw at St Mary`s.

Rock bottom and Championship-bound Southampton had looked set to equal Derby`s season-low tally of 11 points recorded in the 2007-08 season.
However, the 0-0 draw took them to 12 points from 36 games, a result that led to some fans inside the stadium singing in celebration.
This result even prompted a seemingly cheeky comment from the official Saints X (formerly Twitter) account after the final whistle, which stated: "Sorry if we got your hopes up, @dcfcofficial."
But other supporters were left angered by the "humiliating" post and urged the club, which has now drawn six matches, to remove it.
One fan wrote: "This is embarrassing as f***. Please delete this. On behalf of Every saints fan."
A second commented: "Even as bait this is truly tragic, I`d be mortified if I were a Saints fan."
A third added: "This is embarrassing 😶."
Another football supporter added: "Imagine bragging about being the second worst team in Premier League history 😂."

And Saints fans likely wouldn`t have wanted to hear what proud goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale had to say about passing Derby`s tally.
The former Arsenal stopper said: "Delighted. We’re not happy about how the season has gone but we’re happy we’ve avoided that record.
"We’re under no illusions that it’s not a great points tally. The fans are happy in the sun smiling.
"Everyone knows it`s been a difficult season for us. That one was for the fans and also the lads who have given everything.
"A lot of Mondays coming in after heavy defeats. Today is a relief.
"When Rusky came in he asked us to be extraordinary in concentration and personality and we showed that in abundance today.
"Credit to the lads and the way they defended. We made it hard for them."
In fairness to Southampton, there had been considerable discussion about whether they would surpass Derby`s unwanted record. And now they have.
And interim manager Simon Rusk had urged his team to exit the Premier League "with as much dignity as possible" before the match began.
Meanwhile, Manchester City failed to secure a top-five finish in the race for Champions League qualification and missed the opportunity to move level on points with Arsenal in second place.
Pep Guardiola`s team remains close to fellow Champions League contenders Newcastle, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa, sitting in third place with 65 points.
