Former Sky Sports Soccer Saturday hosts Chris Kamara and Jeff Stelling recently held a reunion dinner. However, the gathering was a small one, with only five past contributors to the popular football show attending.
Kamara and Stelling were long-standing figures on the programme, having worked for decades alongside various football experts and reporters. The attendees included former Arsenal player Charlie Nicholas, who served as a pundit for 24 years, and Bianca Westwood, a match reporter who departed Sky Sports in 2023. Soccer Saturday producer Alan Condo also joined the group.
Chris Kamara left Sky Sports in 2022, citing health reasons, including Apraxia of Speech, which viewers had noticed affecting his speech. Jeff Stelling ended his 25-year tenure with Sky Sports a year later, in 2023.
Kamara shared a photo of the five attendees online, acknowledging the low turnout but emphasizing it was still a “fabulous night.” His caption specifically named Condo, Charlie, Bianca, and “the Unbelievable Jeff Stelling.”
Fans reacted positively to the reunion, expressing nostalgia for the classic Soccer Saturday lineup. Many comments praised the attendees as being “the best ones,” highlighting the “quality” of the group and lamenting the end of what they called “the glory days” of the show.
