This year`s Kraft Hockeyville celebrations are heading to Quebec.
Gary Bettman, the NHL commissioner, announced on Saturday night during Hockey Night in Canada on Sportsnet that Saint-Boniface, Quebec, has won the 2025 Kraft Hockeyville competition.
Saint-Boniface emerged victorious from a pool of four finalists, surpassing Crossfield, Alberta, Honeywood, Ontario, and Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.
As the grand prize winner, Saint-Boniface will be awarded $250,000 for improvements to their local arena and will be given the chance to host a National Hockey League pre-season game.
The three communities that finished as runners-up will each receive $25,000 dedicated to arena upgrades, and all four communities will benefit from a $10,000 donation of new hockey equipment from NHLPA Goals & Dreams.
Last year, Elliot Lake, Ontario, was the winning community, with a pre-season game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Ottawa Senators taking place in Sudbury, Ontario.
