Manchester United legend Roy Keane strongly criticized goalkeeper Altay Bayindir for his costly mistake during their match against Newcastle.

Bayindir, who joined Manchester United from Fenerbahce for £4 million last summer, made his Premier League debut in this game.
However, the 26-year-old had a difficult game at St James` Park as Newcastle defeated Manchester United 4-1.
He conceded three goals within the first 64 minutes of the match.
Later, his poor short kick from the penalty area was intercepted, leading to Newcastle`s fourth goal.
Joelinton intercepted the ball and passed it to Bruno Guimaraes, who scored past Bayindir.
Keane stated that Bayindir lacked the necessary judgment for a top-level goalkeeper.
Keane emphasized the goalkeeper`s fault in the fourth goal, questioning the risky decision to make a short pass, especially under pressure.
He acknowledged that while adapting to the speed of the game takes time for new goalkeepers, Bayindir`s mistake was basic and unacceptable.
Keane pointed out that at the highest level, especially against a strong team like Newcastle, decision-making is crucial.
He suggested that if Bayindir intended to pass long, he should have ensured it went far enough to avoid danger, highlighting the lack of common sense in his action.
Les Ferdinand echoed Keane`s sentiment, noting a trend of goalkeepers being overly intricate and clever in their play.
Ferdinand suggested Bayindir should have opted for a straightforward long clearance, especially when already trailing 3-1, to prevent further mistakes and goals.
He questioned Bayindir`s decision to attempt a delicate short pass into midfield in such a critical situation.
Man Utd player ratings vs Newcastle: Zirkzee performs well before injury, Bayindir disappoints.
Manchester United`s disappointing Premier League season continued with a 4-1 defeat to Newcastle, marking their worst ever season in the league in terms of points.
To reach even 56 points, they would need to win all of their remaining six matches.
There is a risk they could finish as low as 17th place.
Newcastle easily exploited Manchester United`s weaknesses throughout the second half.
Despite Andre Onana being dropped after a poor performance, substitute goalkeeper Altay Bayindir also struggled significantly.
Goals from Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes (two), and Bruno Guimaraes overshadowed Alejandro Garnacho`s goal for Man Utd.
