According to former fighter, expert, and commentator Chael Sonnen, a date and location have been determined for the anticipated bout between UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and interim champion Tom Aspinall.
Speaking on ESPN, Sonnen confidently stated:
I am quite confident to report that the fight is arranged. It is confirmed up to the date. Jon Jones did not evade this fight… but he did not avoid Tom Aspinall.
Jones`s last fight was in November of the previous year, where he successfully defended his title by knocking out Stipe Miocic.
