American mixed martial artist Aaron Pico, recently signed with the UFC, shared his thoughts on a hypothetical matchup between current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria, the former lightweight titleholder.
Pico stated, “I think a fight between Makhachev and Topuria would be great for the sport. Fans are eager to see them compete due to their contrasting styles. However, in my opinion, Islam is simply too skilled for Topuria. Still, I`m excited about this potential fight and would love to watch it.”
