As the NHL regular season approaches its conclusion, the Ottawa Senators are focused on a singular objective: securing a place in the playoffs.
With only 10 games remaining, the Senators, holding a 39-28-5 record, are well-positioned in the Eastern Conference`s first wild-card spot, maintaining an eight-point advantage over their competitors.
However, there`s no complacency within the Senators camp. After a seven-year absence from playoff contention, the team is highly motivated to finally participate in post-season hockey.
“Teams are performing at a high level, and the playoff push is on, meaning every opponent will bring their best game,” noted Ottawa’s Shane Pinto. “We need to be sharp and ready every night.”
With a condensed schedule of games almost every other day, the Senators will have limited time to dwell on wins or losses. Their focus remains firmly on the immediate task: maintaining their playoff position.
