Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira has offered his prediction for the upcoming rematch between Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira.
According to Oliveira, speaking to Bloody Elbow, “Everyone in Brazil believes that Pereira showed a strong performance in the fight against Ankalaev. He successfully defended against all takedowns, and even managed to take down Magomed himself. Ankalaev only managed to land one significant punch that made Alex step back. Ankalaev also frequently held Alex against the cage. Alex fought effectively, and in the rematch, I expect him to knock Ankalaev out in the second round.”
