New Jersey Devils Re-Sign Cody Glass to Two-Year, $5 Million Contract

The New Jersey Devils and forward Cody Glass are set to continue their collaboration.

The team announced on Wednesday that they have finalized a two-year contract with the forward, carrying an average annual value (AAV) of $2.5 million, resulting in a total value of $5 million over the term.

Glass, aged 25, was acquired by the Devils during the trade deadline of the recent season. After recording four goals and 11 assists in 51 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins, he registered two goals and five assists in 14 games with New Jersey following the trade.

A native of Winnipeg, Glass was originally the sixth overall selection by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Across his NHL career, which includes 252 games played with the Devils, Penguins, Nashville Predators, and Golden Knights, he has accumulated a total of 93 points, consisting of 35 goals and 58 assists.
