Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Buffalo Sabres 7-4, highlighted by Matvei Michkov`s second consecutive two-goal game. Goalie Samuel Ersson made 17 saves for the Flyers. Noah Cates, Owen Tippett, Tyson Foerster, Ryan Poehling, and Jakob Pelletier also contributed to the Flyers` scoring. This win marks their second straight victory following the dismissal of coach John Tortorella. For the Sabres, Jack Quinn scored twice, while Alex Tuch and John-Jason Peterka each added a goal, ending their three-game winning streak. Sabres goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 25 saves. Michkov`s goals included an opening wrist shot and a backhand goal in the second period, bringing his season totals to 24 goals and 32 assists in 73 games.
