Poppy McIlroy`s Putt
Rory McIlroy and his daughter Poppy celebrate her impressive putt at the Masters Par 3 contest.

Rory McIlroy`s four-year-old daughter, Poppy, became the star of the show at the Masters Par 3 contest on Wednesday. She amazed onlookers by sinking a remarkable 25-foot downhill putt with apparent ease.

Expectations were low as Poppy approached her ball on the ninth green, casually holding her putter. However, she delivered a delightful surprise when her gentle tap sent the ball rolling smoothly towards the hole.

As the ball dropped into the hole, an astonished Rory McIlroy threw his hands up in excitement, while Poppy celebrated her successful putt with a heartwarming hug from her father.

Reflecting on the enjoyable afternoon, McIlroy mentioned to reporters, “It`s wonderful to conclude the major preparations with such a light-hearted and fun event.”

He added, “If you`re not prepared by this stage, it`s too late. Now it`s time to enjoy ourselves, head home for dinner, and get some rest before Thursday’s tournament.”

McIlroy is considered a top contender for this year`s Masters, which starts on Thursday. He is aiming to secure the coveted green jacket and become only the sixth golfer to achieve a career Grand Slam.
