Manchester United is poised to lose millions following the unveiling of their new training kit for the upcoming season.
The club revealed their 2025/2026 training gear notably without a main sponsor logo, a detail which many supporters quickly noticed and labelled as “embarrassing.”

It is common practice in football sponsorship for one brand to sponsor the main playing kits while another secures the rights for the training kit.
However, United`s agreement with the blockchain company Tezos, reportedly worth around £24 million annually, came to an end on June 30.
Consequently, the Premier League club launched their new plum-colored training range this Tuesday for manager Ruben Amorim`s sessions without any sponsor displayed.
This lack of a sponsor means the club is currently foregoing a significant stream of potential revenue.
Fans were quick to express their disappointment and concern online. One commenter remarked, “Not surprising. There`s not many [brands] want to be associated with us.”
Another reaction simply read, “Shambolic.”
Club sources had reportedly suggested that a new training kit sponsor would be finalized shortly after the Tezos deal expired. However, reports indicate there are currently no immediate agreements in place to secure a new sponsor.
The Tezos-branded training kit had been worn by United`s first-team squad for the past three years, and the logo also featured on the women`s team`s training attire.
Securing a new training kit sponsor as soon as possible is vital to help improve the club`s financial position, which is reportedly under pressure.
United released several promotional images showcasing players in the new kit, including different items like coats and jackets. Players featured included Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, and new signing Leny Yoro.
Notably, Alejandro Garnacho, who is reportedly on the transfer list and linked with a move away, was also included in the promotional photographs.
Last month, Matheus Cunha was pictured wearing a Tezos-sponsored hoodie in his official unveiling pictures after signing from Wolves. Going forward, any new signings are expected to be photographed in unsponsored training gear.
The expiration of the Tezos training kit sponsorship follows recent news that Marriott International also decided not to extend their sponsorship deal from 2019 after its contract concluded.
In contrast, Snapdragon continues its significant sponsorship of the club`s main matchday kits, a deal valued at £300 million over five years.

Manager Ruben Amorim`s team is scheduled to begin their Premier League season at home against Arsenal on August 17.
