In a funny moment during a recent Concacaf Champions Cup quarter-final game between Inter Miami and LAFC, Luis Suarez seemed to jokingly attempt to bite a player. However, he quickly stopped when he realized it was actually one of his own teammates.
This amusing incident happened during the second leg of the match, a game where tensions were already elevated after LAFC had won the first leg 1-0.
Inter Miami, featuring Lionel Messi, managed to secure a 3-1 victory at home, winning the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
Towards the end of the game, a clash between players from both teams occurred after a bad tackle, leading to a scuffle in the middle of the field where Suarez was involved.

During the minor conflict, Suarez had his shirt collar tugged. Reacting in apparent anger, he turned around and seemed to aim a playful bite at the arm that was within reach.
However, Suarez immediately halted his action when he recognized that the arm belonged to his Inter Miami teammate, Jordi Alba.
Online, fans reacted quickly to the clip. One fan commented, “Friendly fire,” while another humorously described it as a “defence mechanism.”

Another fan suggested Suarez “needs to see someone about this habit,” referencing his past incidents of biting opponents.
Notably, Suarez famously bit Giorgio Chiellini during a World Cup match against Italy in 2014 and Branislav Ivanovic of Chelsea in 2013 while playing for Liverpool.
These biting incidents resulted in significant bans for Suarez, including a ten-match ban from the FA for the Ivanovic bite and a nine-game international ban for the Chiellini incident.
