Experienced UFC commentator Joe Rogan has put forward the idea that strikes to the back of the head should be permitted within the sport.
Rogan commented, “I`m uncertain why hitting the back of the head is prohibited – it doesn`t resonate with me logically, and I believe it should be allowed. While discussing this with a neuroscientist, they might point out its vulnerability. However, aren`t the temples and the eyes just as susceptible? They possess comparable vulnerability,” as reported by Bloody Elbow.
