WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets are confronted with a formidable task, currently trailing the Dallas Stars 3-1 in their best-of-seven series.
Since the establishment of the NHL, only 32 teams have managed to overcome a 3-1 series deficit and win. Adding to the difficulty, a remarkable comeback would require the Jets to secure a victory in a road playoff game, something they have not accomplished since the 2023 post-season.
Admittedly, this season has been anything but easy or predictable for the team that clinched the Presidents` Trophy last year.
Their presence in the playoffs at all is attributed to the memorable “Manitoba Miracle” in Game 7 against the St. Louis Blues.
