Renowned coach Javier Mendes has shared his thoughts on the potential fight between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall.
Mendes stated, “Jon is driven to win and dedicates himself fully. He`s a perfectionist and is willing to do whatever it takes, even things considered unethical, to secure victory.”
He continued, “If Jon delays fighting Aspinall beyond expectations, it`s solely because it doesn`t serve his best interests. Age difference isn`t a factor. He needs adequate preparation for Aspinall`s challenge. Jon`s aim is to dominate him completely, a mindset he`s always had throughout his career.”
Mendes concluded, “I don`t criticize his approach. Jon needs to remain true to himself and his winning nature. He`s been a winner his entire life.”
