Newcastle`s assistant coach, Jason Tindall, has affirmed his intention to continue engaging with opposing managers as the controversy surrounding his `Wham! hoodie` extends into today`s match against Aston Villa.
Tindall, currently leading Newcastle while Eddie Howe recovers from illness, was at the center of a tunnel altercation during Villa`s 3-0 defeat at Newcastle on Boxing Day.

Previously, Emery refused to shake hands with Tindall, who then gestured to silence the Spaniard and wore a Wham! top to celebrate their victory.
In anticipation of today’s game, Tindall commented: “In the heat of the moment, your only focus is securing a win.”
“The hoodie incident gained considerable attention, but you won’t see a repeat at Villa Park.”
Known as `Mad Dog` to many, Tindall is notorious for provoking reactions from opposing managers.
Tindall has been involved in heated exchanges with prominent managers like Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta.
Taking charge while Eddie Howe is ill, Tindall has guided the Magpies to significant wins against Manchester United and Crystal Palace.
However, the upcoming match at Aston Villa is expected to be a major test for Tindall, given the history between the benches.
The rivalry extends beyond the fans to the coaching staff as well.
With Tindall leading Newcastle for this Villa match, tensions are likely to escalate, recalling the chaotic scenes from their previous encounter.
Emery was angered by Jhon Duran`s dismissal and protested to the fourth official, further escalating when Tindall appeared to silence him.
A large brawl involving 20 individuals erupted at halftime, with Tindall and Villa analyst Victor Manas at the forefront, accusing each other of disrespect.
The confrontation involved Villa`s director of football operations, Damian Vidagany, and resulted in red cards for both Tindall and Manas from referee Anthony Taylor.
Both clubs faced fines from the FA, but Tindall denied the accusations, even after wearing a Wham! hoodie post-match.
Villa`s official statement to the FA mentioned Tindall`s reappearance in the tunnel wearing a Wham! jumper.
Tindall and Emery`s history includes a previous incident where Emery refused a handshake after Newcastle`s 3-1 victory at Villa Park.
When asked about shaking Emery`s hand this time, Tindall stated he would offer his hand.
Regarding the hoodie, Tindall explained it was pre-arranged with a fan and intended as a celebratory gesture if they won.
Emery responded to questions about Tindall by stating he has no issues and acknowledged the competitive nature of football, while also sending well wishes to Eddie Howe.

Fan animosity dates back to 2009 when Villa fans mocked Newcastle`s relegation with provocative banners.
Currently, Newcastle holds a stronger position, having recently won a major trophy and outperforming Villa in the league standings.
Emery acknowledged Newcastle`s strong form and the importance of the upcoming match in the league context.
