Leading Irish welterweight fighter Ian Garry has shared his thoughts on the possibility of lightweight champion Islam Makhachev moving up to the welterweight division (77kg).
Garry stated, “Makhachev`s potential move is incredibly interesting. He`s a highly skilled and complete MMA fighter, truly exceptional. And he might not have to endure difficult weight cuts in a new division. I would absolutely love to fight him! If you consider yourself the best and want to prove it, then take on this challenge! To the UFC, I`m saying: call me! Do you really think I would refuse?”
