Henry Cejudo Hints at Career End After Injury

MMA

Former UFC two-division champion Henry Cejudo is considering retiring from mixed martial arts after sustaining an injury in his fight against Song Yadong.

Cejudo mentioned that he experienced double vision for about five days after the fight, which occurred when lying down or looking downwards. He stated, `Luckily it only happens when I lie down, or lower my gaze, but it took me about five days for the double vision to go away a bit after the injury. It wasn`t that I couldn`t see, but I could see two people.`

Reflecting on his career and future, Cejudo expressed a shift in perspective, saying, `I never saw mixed martial arts as something dangerous. I`ve talked to my wife, and I think if everything is okay, the next fight could be my last fight. One more and that`s it. I want to play with my kids. I don`t want to lose an eye and I want to keep my eyesight.`
