Gareth Southgate appears to have retired from his career as a football manager, officially changing his profession to “company director” in official documents.
Southgate`s last stint as England`s manager concluded last summer with a defeat against Spain (2-1) in the Euro 2024 final.

Following his departure from the England job, the 54-year-old had mentioned he would take at least a year off from coaching.
Now, it seems Southgate, the former England defender, is signaling a definitive end to his football management career.
Documents related to MAS Investment Holdings Limited, his company managing a £6.2 million property portfolio, indicate a profession change from “football manager” to “company director”.
This move aligns with predictions made by Gary Lineker after the Euro 2024 final, who speculated it “might be his last game in management.”
Living in North Yorkshire with his wife Alison, Southgate was previously considered for Premier League managerial positions, including a link to Manchester United before they appointed Ruben Amorim.
Instead of pursuing another coaching role, Southgate has been engaged in various temporary positions.
He is currently serving as a technical observer for UEFA and a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School in the United States.
Furthermore, Southgate is authoring a self-help book focused on leadership principles.
The book is expected to draw upon his experiences and insights gained from leading the England national team to two consecutive European Championship finals.
