Flyers Agree to Five-Year Deal with Defenceman Cam York

Cam York is set to remain with the Philadelphia Flyers.

The restricted free agent defenseman has reportedly signed a five-year contract extension valued at $25.75 million to continue his tenure with the Flyers, as reported by Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet on Monday.

Selected 14th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, York has played in 235 games for Philadelphia, accumulating 77 points and establishing himself as a vital member of the team`s top defensive unit.

The Anaheim native also represented the United States at the World Junior Championships twice, earning a gold medal in 2021.

Earlier in the 2024-25 season, York missed approximately a month of action after being placed on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury.
