Adam Klapka is set to remain with the Calgary Flames organization for another two seasons.

The team announced on Tuesday that they have agreed to a two-year contract extension with the six-foot-eight forward, a deal worth a total of $2.5 million.

Klapka, who is 24 years old, had the most successful season of his career with the Flames during the recent campaign. He featured in 31 games, where he contributed six goals and 10 assists.

He was particularly impactful for Calgary during the final month of the season as the team pursued a Western Conference wild-card spot. In April, he achieved a career-high average of 12:43 of ice time per game and led the team in hits with 32.

Klapka originally signed with the Flames as a free agent in May 2022.
