Dustin Wolf made 38 saves, including crucial stops in overtime, as the Calgary Flames defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 5-4 in a shootout.

CALGARY — In a game filled with dramatic twists, Morgan Frost ended a 25-game scoring drought in spectacular fashion, netting the decisive shootout goal that propelled the Calgary Flames to a 5-4 comeback victory against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Nazem Kadri marked a career-high with his 33rd goal of the season, while Mikael Backlund and Adam Klapka also contributed to the Flames` score. Calgary`s spirited performance extended their points streak to seven games (5-0-2), but despite their efforts, they were officially knocked out of playoff contention, marking the third consecutive year the Flames will miss the postseason.

The Flames entered the game with a faint hope for a Western Conference wild-card spot, contingent on external game outcomes. However, their playoff aspirations were dashed earlier in the evening as both the Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues secured wins.
