Everton manager David Moyes is set to compete for the signature of Liam Delap, prepared to patiently await the opportunity to secure the forward.
Moyes has funds available for attacking players and is showing strong interest in the Ipswich Town striker. Delap has a £30 million release clause at Portman Road, making him an attractive option.

While top Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United are also considering signing the 22-year-old, Moyes has prioritized Delap as his primary striker target.
Everton is willing to be patient in their pursuit of Delap, recognizing that his price, age, and playing style are a good fit for the team. Delap has scored 12 Premier League goals, adding to his appeal.
Currently, Everton`s goal-scoring responsibilities largely fall to Beto, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin frequently injured and nearing the end of his contract in the summer.
Moyes aims to bring in new attacking talent, including Liverpool winger Ben Doak, 19, and hopes the club`s new ownership will support these transfers as Everton moves into their new £800m stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
Everton has been actively scouting players, with Moyes personally monitoring Burnley defender Maxime Esteve and sending scouts to watch Sunderland prospect Chris Rigg.
Although Everton may consider selling some players, they anticipate making significant additions to the squad during the summer transfer window ahead of their stadium move.
Harrison Armstrong, an 18-year-old midfielder who has impressed on loan at Derby County, could potentially leave Everton and is attracting interest from Blackburn for a summer move.

Blackburn had previously considered signing Armstrong before Derby County secured his loan.
Interestingly, John Eustace, Blackburn`s former manager, preferred a more experienced player. However, Blackburn`s current recruitment strategy focuses on younger talents, either on loan or at affordable prices, making Armstrong a suitable target.
