Former UFC featherweight title challenger Josh Emmett has shared his thoughts on Ilia Topuria`s potential switch to the lightweight division.
Emmett stated that Topuria might encounter difficulties in the lightweight class. He believes Topuria`s smaller stature could be a disadvantage against naturally bigger lightweights. Emmett, suggesting he is at least as tall, if not taller and more solidly built than Topuria, emphasized the size difference. He further added that he would like to see Topuria compete against top-ranked lightweight contenders to properly assess his chances for a title fight in that weight class.
