Unai Emery surprisingly stated that he sees “not much difference” between a 2-1 and 3-1 defeat.
Aston Villa is returning from Paris two goals behind PSG after the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

Morgan Rogers equalized after Desire Doue scored the first goal, but goals from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Nuno Mendes gave PSG a comfortable 3-1 advantage.
Mendes increased the score in injury time, but Emery remains optimistic about overcoming the deficit at Villa Park.
He commented: “The match unfolded more or less as I expected.”
“There isn`t a significant difference between 2-1 and 3-1, considering we will be playing at home next week.”
“It will still be a huge challenge for us, but we can feel strong at home with our fans.”
“We needed to be defensively solid, playing deeper than usual, but even when we were behind, we maintained an open approach.”
“Morgan had two shots, and Marco Asensio had one, the last goal was okay, but our mindset doesn`t change much because we now have to win at home.”
PSG, who are leading Ligue 1 by 22 points, will visit Villa Park on Tuesday.

Emery added: “In the first half, we had three or four opportunities to enter their box.”
“We knew before the game that we needed to be clinical. We were in the first half but not in the second, when we tried to show our strength.”
“PSG likes to dominate possession, but today we played with a low block. Perhaps at home, we can change this.”
“Hopefully, we can create more moments to maintain our momentum and possess the ball. We will try to reverse the result.”
“We believe in Villa Park and in the ability of our players to perform.”
