The New Jersey Devils have finalized a one-year, one-way contract with forward Juho Lammikko, valued at $800,000.
Lammikko, who is 29 years old, recently concluded a productive season playing for the ZSC Lions in Switzerland`s National League. During the regular season, he scored 13 goals and accumulated 38 points over 48 games.
His success continued into the playoffs, where he added five goals and eight points in 13 contests, contributing to the Lions winning the NL championship title.
Across his three seasons competing in Switzerland, Lammikko registered a total of 48 goals and 112 points over 144 appearances.
Originally drafted by the Florida Panthers in the third round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, the Finnish forward previously played 159 games in the NHL for both the Panthers and the Vancouver Canucks, recording a total of 11 goals and 26 points.
