IBF heavyweight boxing champion Daniel Dubois has expressed strong confidence in his ability to defeat any competitor within the division.
Reports have circulated suggesting a potential rematch for the British fighter against Alexander Usyk, who holds other significant titles in the heavyweight category, possibly scheduled for July 12th.
Speaking in an interview with Podlounge UK, Dubois laid out his ambitious plans: “I am not going to step back; I want to move only forward. I want to beat the best.”
Addressing future opponents, he commented on facing Anthony Joshua again, stating he would need to “repeat what I did in the first fight.”
Directly challenging Usyk, Dubois made a bold prediction: “I will destroy him when we meet next time.”
Dubois attributes his self-assurance to his development as a boxer, claiming he has “progressed with each fight” and that “loud fights have hardened” him.
He issued a clear warning to anyone considering facing him: “If someone wants to test me—they will get what’s coming to them.”
Furthermore, Dubois stated his readiness to take on and potentially end the careers of “several veterans in the heavyweight division.”
