The St. Louis Blues have called up a promising young forward as they compete for a playoff spot.

On Saturday, the team announced the recall of Dalibor Dvorsky from the Springfield Thunderbirds, their AHL affiliate.

Dvorsky, 19 years old, was selected 10th overall in the 2023 NHL Draft. In his first professional season in North America with the Thunderbirds in 2024-25, he scored 20 goals and provided 23 assists in 57 games.

Among AHL rookies, Dvorsky is among the top goal scorers. He also participated in the 2025 AHL All-Star Game representing Springfield in February.

Playing for Slovakia at the 2025 World Juniors, Dvorsky was impressive, contributing five goals and four assists in five games.

The Blues are currently holding the last wild-card position in the Western Conference. They are ahead of the Calgary Flames by two points and the Vancouver Canucks by three points.

Dvorsky could make his NHL debut on Sunday when the Blues play at home against the Nashville Predators.
