Montreal Canadiens defenseman Lane Hutson has been awarded the prestigious Calder Trophy, recognizing him as the NHL`s top rookie. This honor follows his impressive debut season.
While the public announcement was made Tuesday morning, Hutson was surprised with the news during a recent dinner with his family and friends.
Hutson commented that winning the award is a tremendous honor, particularly as it comes from simply doing what he loves.
