ST. LOUIS – Jordan Kyrou marked his 30th goal of the season, while Robert Thomas contributed three assists as the St. Louis Blues triumphed over the Nashville Predators with a score of 4-1, achieving their sixth consecutive win.
Brayden Schenn, Alexandre Texier, and Justin Faulk also contributed goals, and Jordan Binnington stood strong in net, stopping 31 shots. The Blues now widen their lead to four points over Calgary in the race for the second Western Conference wild-card.
Filip Forsberg was the lone scorer for Nashville, and Justus Annunen managed 14 saves. The Predators have been struggling, losing five out of their last six games.
Faulk`s fourth goal of the season extended St. Louis`s lead to 3-1 at the 10:30 mark of the third period.
Forsberg`s power-play goal, his 28th of the season, narrowed the gap to 2-1 early in the second period.
Texier`s power-play goal, his first since February 5th, gave St. Louis a 2-0 advantage late in the first period.
Kyrou initiated the scoring 12:13 into the first period, putting St. Louis ahead 1-0. This season marks Kyrou`s third in a row with 30 or more goals.
