Bisping Slams Chimaev-Borralho Interim Title Talk

MMA

Former UFC middleweight champion, now a respected commentator and analyst, Michael Bisping, recently shared his thoughts on the potential interim title bout involving Khamzat Chimaev and Caio Borralho.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Bisping expressed strong disapproval regarding any discussions of an interim middleweight title.

“A fight between Chimaev and Borralho for the interim title is possible. But it’s madness, there should be no talk of an interim title,” Bisping stated emphatically.

He elaborated on his reasoning, emphasizing the active status of the current champion: “Dricus [du Plessis] is an active champion, he wanted to fight at the end of June but got injured, injuries happen all the time. The only condition for such a fight is Dricus’s surgery.”
