Belal Muhammad, a prominent welterweight fighter in the UFC, has expressed his past interest in stepping into the octagon with the undefeated middleweight Khamzat Chimaev.
“I have called out Khamzat before,” Muhammad stated. He elaborated that this is a fight he has always aspired to, viewing it as one of the toughest challenges available. Muhammad believes their fighting styles would be a very good match.
Discussing Chimaev`s approach, Muhammad observed, “Khamzat hits very hard in the first round and comes out like a rocket…” He explained his strategy for such a bout would involve “simply taking him into the later rounds and starting to wear him down.”
It is worth noting that Muhammad is currently scheduled to compete against Jack Della Maddalena on May 11 at UFC 315, which is set to take place in Montreal, Canada.
