Reports suggest Ange Postecoglou is expected to be dismissed by Tottenham Hotspur, regardless of whether they secure the Europa League title.
The team is currently experiencing a significantly poor Premier League campaign, occupying a disappointing 16th position in the table.
Their recent 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest on Monday marked their 18th defeat of the season, bringing them close to their club record of 19 losses set in the 2003-04 season.

However, the season could potentially be salvaged by winning the Europa League, ending the club`s 17-year trophy drought.
Postecoglou`s squad defeated Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals and is set to face Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the semi-finals.
Despite this, reports indicate that winning the Europa League final on May 21st may not be sufficient to save the Australian manager`s position.
According to The Telegraph, Tottenham`s decision to part ways with Postecoglou has already been made, irrespective of the Europa League outcome.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is reportedly highly regarded by Spurs` hierarchy, though Bournemouth is keen and hopeful of retaining him.
Fulham boss Marco Silva is also considered a primary contender for the role.
Former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has indicated a willingness to return, although he is scheduled to manage the United States national team at the next World Cup held in the US.

It is understood that Tottenham`s technical director Johan Lange admires Brentford`s Thomas Frank.
This news comes alongside reports that chief football officer Scott Munn is also facing dismissal.
Munn is described as Postecoglou`s main supporter and key ally within the club.
Before the win against Eintracht Frankfurt, the manager, facing pressure, commented on his future, stating he had “got no idea” if he would remain at Spurs for the following season.
He commented, “You either believe I can do the job now, or you don`t. That`s my perspective on these matters.”

“If people think winning tomorrow suddenly makes me a better manager, or losing makes me worse, that`s their issue, not mine,” he added. “I don`t see it that way, and I`d like to believe most people don`t either, in terms of their self-worth,” he stated.
He emphasized his indifference, saying, “I couldn’t care less. Truly, I couldn’t care less.”
“There’s no burden or anxiety on me. My focus is on the great opportunity we have to reach the final four of a major tournament,” he explained. He concluded, “I`m not going to let that chance pass without fighting for it with everything I have, regardless of what happens afterwards.”
