Arsenal`s pursuit of Benjamin Sesko faces a dramatic challenge as Saudi club Al-Hilal is reportedly attempting to sign the striker today.
The 6ft 5in Slovenian forward is considered Arsenal`s primary target for the summer transfer window, and the Gunners initiated talks with RB Leipzig last week.

However, the North London club, despite being informed of Sesko`s estimated £70 million valuation, has not yet submitted an official offer.
Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal are looking for a forward after missing out on signing Victor Osimhen.
According to reports, Al-Hilal might make their move today to secure Sesko`s signature before the registration deadline for the Club World Cup.
The expanded 32-team tournament begins on Sunday, but players must be officially registered by 7 pm tonight.
This development poses a significant obstacle for Arsenal, who were previously seen as the frontrunners for Sesko, ahead of clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
Al-Hilal had reportedly targeted Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, but the Nigerian international rejected a lucrative offer said to be worth £650,000 per week. Galatasaray is now reportedly interested in Osimhen, who scored 26 league goals in 30 matches for Napoli last season.

Sesko himself had an impressive season, scoring 21 goals in 45 appearances for RB Leipzig, attracting interest from top European clubs.
His goal-scoring form put him at the top of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta`s wishlist for a new striker.
Al-Hilal`s financial power and urgent need for a striker for the Club World Cup present a formidable challenge for Arsenal`s transfer plans.
