The annual ESPYS awards ceremony, presented by Capital One, is scheduled for July 16, 2025. Cast your vote to help determine which outstanding athletes will take home the show`s top honors.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, fresh off winning an NBA championship and earning Regular Season and Finals MVP titles, is now vying for ESPYS recognition. He is nominated in two categories: Best Athlete – Men`s Sports, and Best NBA Player. The Thunder team itself is also among the nine nominees for Best Team following their Game 7 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

This year`s nominees include athletes who delivered stellar performances at the recent Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. Notably, Simone Biles and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone are contenders for Best Athlete – Women`s Sports. Ilona Maher is recognized in the Best Breakthrough Athlete category, and Ezra Frech is nominated for Best Athlete with a Disability.

A`ja Wilson, last year`s winner of both Best Athlete – Women`s Sports and Best WNBA Player, is once again featured prominently in these key women`s categories. NFL player Saquon Barkley received an impressive three nominations: Best Athlete – Men`s Sports, Best Play, and Best NFL Player. Interestingly, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is the only other NFL player besides Barkley nominated for both Best NFL Player and Best Athlete – Men`s Sports.
