Israel Adesanya recently shared his thoughts on his former opponent and notable rival, Alex Pereira.
Speaking on the `Pound 4 Pound with Kamaru & Cejudo` podcast, Adesanya specifically recalled their second fight and the impact of Pereira`s strikes. “In the rematch, that damn leg kick was there again,” he stated. “When he kicked me in the first round, I thought: `Again?` The first thing you think is: `Oh, damn!`”
Adesanya went on to comment humorously on Pereira`s physical build, suggesting something unusual about his bones. “Something with his bones… Something is not right with his bones. He has gigantism or something like that,” Adesanya remarked. He added, “Look at his knuckles [on his hands]. Look at his feet. Like Ronald McDonald. Damn big.”
